Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are a bold filmmaking duo shaking up the industry with high-energy storytelling. They met while studying at the Sint-Lukas School of Arts in Brussels, where their student film Broeders earned them the VAF Wildcard, setting the tone for their fearless approach to cinema. The breakout came with Image (2014) and the internationally acclaimed Black (2015), which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and snagged the Discovery Award. These achievements opened the door to television; the pilot for Snowfall, and it also marked the start of their production company, Los Morros, with films like Patser.

The Hollywood debut came with Bad Boys for Life (2020), proving Los Morros could play in the big leagues. Starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, the film raked in $426 million globally, solidifying a reputation as blockbuster directors. In Belgium, Los Morros gained recognition with Grond on Netflix, winning three Ensor Awards. Building further on the success of Grond, they team up once again with Mathieu Mortelmans, to produce ‘Terrorist Hunters’. A tv-series that is a film adaption of the bestselling book ‘Terroristenjager: in het hart van de Speciale Eenheden’.

The duo also ventured into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directing episodes of Ms. Marvel (2022), and premiered Rebel at Cannes the same year, adding a deeply personal touch to a growing repertoire.

With Bad Boys Ride or Die crushing it at the box office, Adil and Bilall are stepping up as producers, taking charge of projects like Summerday. This film, written by Ish and Monir Ait Hamou, tells the story of three foster kids on a mission to fund a summer escape.
